Probate: a will is being offered
Administration: no will
Small estates: voluntary administration
Kings lists small estates with the administration department. Ask that department or the Help Center about the voluntary-administration packet and eligibility resources. SE-3A is a different procedure from a full ADM petition; a low account balance alone does not establish eligibility.
Guardianship: start with the right Kings department
The Kings directory lists a guardianship/adoption department for infant and Article 17-A matters at 347-404-9664. Its local forms page includes guardianship and 17-A citations. These are different proceedings; this directory does not choose the petition for you or suggest that every adult-guardianship matter belongs here.

Confirm the submission method, delivery of originals, current court fees and any correction instructions with the Kings department. Preparing or paying for documents does not file them with the court. Legal advice, selection of legal remedies and representation require an attorney.
