Hours & Calendars
The court's published hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, per the official New York Courts website. Individual department windows may keep shorter hours, so call the Clerk's Office at (718) 298-0500 to confirm before you visit.
The court's calendars follow this published schedule:
- Preliminary Conference Calendar — Every Monday at 9:30 AM
- Pre-Trial Conference Calendar — Every Tuesday at 9:30 AM
- Guardianship Matters — Wednesdays at 9:30 AM
- Adoption Calendar — Wednesdays at 9:30 AM (scheduled by the court)
- Process & Motion Calendars — Every Thursday at 9:30 AM (except Thanksgiving)
Trials are scheduled 15 days after a Note of Issue is filed. Calendar, appearance, or adjournment requests must be emailed to the Calendar Clerk — requests sent by fax are not processed.

E-Filing (NYSCEF)
Under the court's e-filing protocol, new probate, administration, accounting, guardianship, and miscellaneous proceedings (including small estates) must be commenced electronically through NYSCEF, the New York State Courts Electronic Filing system.
